Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Fiona Apple Premieres New Song “I Can't Wait To Meet You”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Fiona Apple McAfee-Maggart, aka Fiona Apple has delivered a new song entitled “I Can't Wait To Meet You”. It was recorded for the Carnegie Hall Lullaby Project’s new compilation "Hopes & Dreams: The Lullaby Project". The track was written by Thomas Cabaniss and Solangie Jimenez.
The Lullaby Project pairs pregnant women and new mothers with professional artists to write and sing personal lullabies for their babies, supporting maternal health, aiding child development, and strengthening the bond between parent and child.
"Hopes & Dreams: The Lullaby Project" was released on April 20th and performed by leading artists, including Fiona Apple, the Brentano String Quartet, Lawrence Brownlee, Rosanne Cash, Joyce DiDonato, Janice Freeman, Rhiannon Giddens, Angélique Kidjo, Patti LuPone, Natalie Merchant, Dianne Reeves, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Pretty Yende, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The recording was produced by Glen Roven, Ira Yuspeh, and Mitch Yuspeh.-
