Swedish synth pop trio RABBII has delivered a new song “Afraid Of The Dark” via SoundCloud. The track follows up "Left For Dead" and "All Men Must Die".
It's an intriguing mix of '90s synth pop and modern day dancefloor pop. It reminds us of Melanie Martinez.
Lead singer Johanna Berglund said of the song, "I wanted to do a track that would just let you dream away, but I think your dream might be a nightmare. Think “Every step you take”, but from the woman’s perspective. I wanted the stabby 90’s synths to feel half dreamy, half paranoia."
RABBII was formed in 2015. Originally, the band started as duo, consisting of Johanna Berglund and Felix Persson. Currently, Mats Jönsson joined in the band.
The trio debuted with "Why Can't I Be You" in 2015. Since then they have released "Hang Us High", "Chameleon", "New Friends", "Sadness" and "Majestic".- source : The Line Of Best Fit
