  • Mazzy Star Premieres New Song “Quiet, The Winter Harbor”

  • American alternative rock band Mazzy Star announced a new EP "Still", which is set be released June 1, 2018. The duo revealed a new song “Quiet, The Winter Harbor” from the EP.


    The EP comprises of 4-track including a reworked version of their 1993 song "So Tonight That I Might See". The EP follows up their last fourth album "Seasons of Your Day", which was released in 2013. Also it marks Sandoval and Roback's first collaboration since the 2017 death of the group's longtime drummer Keith Mitchell.
    Mazzy Star will will make their Australian stage debut this summer with performances at the Sydney Opera House on June 11th, 12th and 13th.

    Mazzy Star was formed in 1989 from remnants of the group Opal. The band currently consists of David Roback (guitar) and Hope Sandoval (vocals).
    Last year, Hope Sandoval announced a new album from her project with My Bloody Valentine’s Colm Ó Cíósóig—Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions.
