Neko Case Premieres New Song “Bad Luck”
American singer-songwriter Neko Case, who is known as a member of the Canadian indie rock group The New Pornographers.
She unveiled a new song “Bad Luck” via streaming music services. The track will appear on her upcoming 8th solo studio album "Hell-On", which is set to be released on June 1, 2018.
When she was in Stockholm, she got a phone call, in which she learned that her house had caught fire and would likely burn down. She recorded the circumstances at that time on “Bad Luck”.
The album "Hell-On" is her first LP in five years. But she released collaboration album "Case/lang/veirs" along with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs in 2016.
She will perform live on Live From Here at The Fox Theatre on May 19th and on Sasquatch! Festival at Gorge Amphitheatre on May 27th. Afterwards, she embarks North American tour in support of the new album between May 28th and August 11th. After North American leg, the tour takes place in Europe through to November 8th.
