American rapper Cardi B appeared on Saturday Night Live, where she performed “Be Careful”, and a mash-up of her hits “Bodak Yellow” & “Bartier Cardi”.
This marks her debut on SNL as a musical guest. Also, Also, she confirmed on SNL that she is pregnant. Last year, she engaged with American rapper Offset.
“Be Careful” is her latest single from her debut album "Invasion of Privacy", which was released on April 6th. She performed the song live for the first time on TV.
She said of the song "I wasn’t talkin’ about Offset, I was just talkin’ about things I relate to and that have happened to me. First of all, I heard the record before I even was in love with Offset like that."
“Bodak Yellow” is her debut single on a major record label and released in June 2017. The song has topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks, making the second solo hip-hop number-one single by a female artist in the chart's history after Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)" in 1998.
The song won Single of the Year at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards and nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the 60th Grammy Awards.
“Bartier Cardi” was released as the second single from her debut album, featuring guest vocals from American rapper 21 Savage.
The debu album comprises of 13-track and features guest appearances by Migos, Chance the Rapper, Kehlani, SZA, 21 Savage, J Balvin, Bad Bunny and YG.
The album became Gold disc on the Recording Industry Association of America.- source : Billboard
