American singer-songwriter Halsey unveiled a new music video for “Alone” featuring American rapper Big Sean and British rapper Stefflon Don.
Directed by Hannah Lux Davis and Halsey. Originally, the song was included on her sophomore album "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom", which was released last June.
This time, it was released as a remix version on March 15, 2018. Written by Halsey, Eric Frederic, Daniel Dodd Wilson, Josh Carter and Anthony Hester.
The track is about a social butterfly at the house party (which is a parallel to the masquerade ball in Romeo and Juliet) referenced in “Heaven in Hiding” and “Strangers”. It is the second character’s perspective of this party, with “Heaven in Hiding” acting as the first character’s perspective.
Halsey tweeted of the new video, "Never underestimate the power of a broken heart."
She kicks off Oceania leg of Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour at Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on April 19. The tour takes place in North America, Latin America, Asia, Europe and Oceania through to September, 2018.
