Los Angeles-based alt hard rock band Satellite Citi has released a long-awaited debut EP "Negative Space".
The EP was preceded by two singles "Undead" and "Pyramid". The music video for "Undead", directed by Powell Robinson and Patrick Young, was premiered last October.
The second single "Pyramid" features dynamic heavy guitar riffs and melodic stormy vocals.
The debut EP comprises of 6-track, and inspired from societal issues and corruption of politics and struggling to find solace.
The band said of the EP, "The underlying theme in our music would be overcoming negative energy, hence the EP title, Negative Space. We want our music to encourage people to stand up when they've fallen".- Satellite Citi was formed in 2015, consisting of Anna Gevorkian (vocals/drums) and Shaunt Sulahian (guitars/backing vocals). On stage, two member adds as Spacewalker #1 (Guitars) and Spacewalker #2 (Bass).
The band released a debut song "Rock Bottom" in 2015, followed by "Alive" and "Rootless" were issued in 2016, respectively.
They worked with famed rock producer, Brad Wood (Placebo, Smashing Pumpkins) on the debut EP.
