The X Factor winner and English singer-songwriter, Louisa, aka Louisa Johnson has released a new song “Yes” featuring American rapper 2 Chainz. The song was premiered exclusively on Gay Times.
The track is the third single off of her upcoming debut album (yet-untitled), which is expected to be released later this year. It was written by BullySongs, Linus Nordstrom, Camille Purcell, Frank Nobel, 2 Chainz and Chris Loco.
The song is Christina Aguilera-style.
About the song, Louisa Johnson told Gay Times in an interview;
"I just wanted to express myself a little bit more, and the way I do that is through music. I was just wanted to be more open and honest, and wanted to have fun, and make sure it’s a real representation of me. I’ve loved every single song I’ve made so far, but this is my favourite because I’ve been so involved in the process. It’s got an element of early 2000s, nineties vibe, which I like. It’s the kind of music I listen to, which is why I think I’m so attached to it."-

"We put the song out to a few of my favourite rappers. He was the first person that came back, so we just kind of stuck with him. He said how much he liked the song, and that he wanted to jump on it right away. It was pretty random but amazing! When I got the call back, I couldn’t believe he would want to be on my song!
