Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sophia Black is back. Her new song “Real Shit” arrived. The song was premiered exclusively on Idolator.
This time, she teamed up with American rapper Kyle for the new song. The track is the first taste from her upcoming sophomore EP, which is expected to be released this spring. Co-produced by Kool Kojack and Shea Taylor.
“Real Shit” is her first single in three years since her self-titled debut EP. This is a smooth hip-hop bop inspired by memes.
About the new song, she said;
“In life, real shitty things happen and you can’t control it… but in the end everything works out and life’s cool. I just wanted to make a song that’s lyrically inspired by memes and ‘Ironic’ by Alanis Morissette with a positive twist.”- Sophia Black signed to Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records and joined in "The Smurfs 2 (Music from and Inspired By)" soundtrack in 2013, in which she performed ""Everything Breaks".
