Colombian-American singer-songwriter Kali Uchis and American rapper Tyler, The Creator appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where they performed Kali Uchis' latest song “After the Storm”.
This marks their second time as the musical guest on The Tonight Show. Back in September, Uchis served as the rapper's foil when he played the yearning Flower Boy track "See You Again."
“After the Storm” is to appear on Kali Uchis' upcoming debut album "Isolation", which is set to be released on April 6, 2018.
The track was written by Kali Uchis, Tyler, The Creator, Bootsy Collins, Matthew Tavares, Alexander Sowinski, Chester Hansen and Leland Whitty.
The debut album "Isolation" is the first project from her since 2015's EP "Por Vida".- Kali Uchis said of the new song;
"I was in Canada with BadBadNotGood and I felt inspired as soon as we were in the studio, I was playing them a bunch of songs that made me feel good. I just wanted something that felt good. Something that carried an energy–that could elevate my frequency at the moment. They got right into it and they did it.
