- David Byrne Performs “Everybody's Coming to My House” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
- Founder of Talking Heads, David Byrne appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he performed “Everybody's Coming to My House”.
The song is the lead single form his 10th solo album "American Utopia", which was released on March 9, 2018. It was written by Brian Eno and David Byrne. The new album is his first LP in six years since "Love This Giant" with St. Vincent.
On TV, Stephen Colbert, David Byrne and four members of the backing band sang the track's closing chorus together while seated at a roundtable.
David Byrne announced the world tour dates in support of the album including Lollapalooza Chile 2018. The tour takes place in North America, South America and Europe through to September.
In addition to David Byrne, Lollapalooza Chile 2018 features Image Dragons, The Killers, Pearl Jam, Kyogo and Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others. Learn more about tour dates, click here.
About the tour, he said in a statement;
"The band and I will be testing all of this in front of a live audience during a small number of shows in the beginning of March. We'll be doing some new songs… and many others that will, I assume, be familiar. I'm excited. This is the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense, so fingers crossed."
