Azealia Banks Premieres New Song “Movin’ On Up” featuring An Expresso
New York-based rapper Azealia Banks teamed up with Anaheim-based DJ An Expresso for a new song “Movin’ On Up”.
Originally, “Movin’ On Up” was written for her debut film "Love Beats Rhymes", directed by RZA in 2017, in which she performed a short a capella version.
This time, she recorded the song for her upcoming sophomore album "Fantasea II: The Second Wave".
On March 1st, she uploaded demo version to Tidal, and final version was posted on SoundCloud shortly. The track was written by Azealia Banks and produced by Newbody.
The new album comprises of 20-track and was preceded by two singles "Chi Chi" and "Escapades" in 2017. It is her first LP in four years.- On March 6th, New York City announced a free 12-day festival titled "Prelude to The Shed" this spring at the Shed, where she will perform live along with R&B singer ABRA and EDM DJ/producer Arca.
New York City will launch the Shed in 2019, which has a glittering new hub for young artists from dancers to musicians to painters and beyond to hone their craft. - source : HotNewHipHop
