Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Father John Misty Premieres New Song “Mr. Tillman”
American singer-songwriter Father John Misty has released a new song “Mr. Tillman”. The song was written during a six-week period where Tillman was living in a hotel.
The track is taken from his upcoming album, as-yet-untitled. He performed the song for the first time in Tokyo, Japan. The song of live version was leaked online last week.
The new album follows up "Pure Comedy" (2017), which won Best Recording Package at Grammy Awards, and produced by Jonathan Rado, including "Mr. Tillman, Please Exit the Lobby", "Ouch, I'm Drowning", "Well, We're Only People and There's Nothing Much We Can Do About It", and "Dum Dum Blues". It is expected to be released in 2018.
He has currently toured through to November. The tour takes place in North America, Europe and the UK.
