New Zealand based singer-songwriter NÏKA premiered a new music video for "FUTURE LOVER", directed by Petra Cibilich.
The song follows up her debut song "Real Fake Love", which was released in June 2017. The track is synth-pop with rhythmic bassline and smooth vocals.
About the new song, she said, "Future Lover is about the different sides you feel when falling for someone. The quiet, smitten side of you waiting in the wings and the then the loud, confident side, where you yell it from the rooftops."
NÏKA debuted in music scene with BAYNK's "What You Need" in 2016. Followed by, she joined in SACHI's "Shelter" in 2017 as guest vocals. "What You Need" having racked up over five million streams, and "Shelter" surpassing a million plays online.
In 2017, she started solo project and released the debut single "Real Fake Love", produced by Alex Wildwood and Sam de Jong.
She said, "Writing acoustic folk was a very calming and introspective thing for me; but electronic pop allows me to feel happy, free and open with my emotions. Fun, fast and hopeful. Writing music and singing allows me to let go of my inhibitions. I hope to have that effect on people listening to my songs. Make them dance and feel upbeat."-
