Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Weeknd Premieres New Song “Pray For Me” featuring Kendrick Lamar from Marvel’s “Black Panther” Soundtrack
Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd and Grammy Awards winner Kendrick Lamar teamed up for a new song “Pray For Me”, which is included on the soundtrack for Marvel’s "Black Panther". It was written by Doc McKinney, Frank Dukes, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd.
This marks their second collaboration since “Sidewalks” from The Weeknd's third album "Starboy".
The soundtrack album comprises of 14-track, Kendrick Lamar serves 5 track including “Pray For Me”. Featuring guest appearnces from SZA, Swae Lee, Travis Scott, Khalid, UK singer Jorja Smith and South African breakout star Babes Wodumo, among others.
From the album, the lead single "All The Stars" was already released by SZA and Kendrick Lamar on January 9. The album is set to be released on February 9.
"Black Panther" is shaping up to be Marvel’s strongest superhero debut film, directed by Ryan Coogler, starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
The film will hit theaters on February 16.-
