Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The Chainsmokers Premieres New Music Video for “Sick Boy”
New York-based DJ/production duo The Chainsmokers dropped a new music video for "Sick Boy" on January 17th, directed by Brewer. The video features both members of The Chainsmokers and Matt McGuire performing the song in an empty soundstage.
The song was written by Tony Ann, Emily Warren, Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart, following previous single"Honest".
Last May, the duo was interviewed by KISS FM Phoenix and revealed working on this track. Andrew Taggart described the track as being “angrier” and “darker” than their hit song with Coldplay “Something Just Like This.”
The track is the first taste of material from their upcoming new album.
When we heard the song, it reminds of us Rihanna's hit song "Diamonds".
