A few weeks ago, American singer-songwriter Justin Timberlake released the new song "Filthy" and music video from his upcoming fifth studio album "Man of the Woods". Since then, he has posted a few videos of a behind-the-scenes of the making the new album online.
On January 13, he shared a new short documentary of “Man of the Woods”. In the interview, he tried to blend his Tennessee roots with more contemporary musical styles on "Man of the Woods", "I think the album has a wide range of sonics to it, but I guess I would describe it as modern Americana with 808s," he said.
Also in the video, you can see him, who plays guitar, piano and working with Pharrell Williams in the recording studio.
"Man of the Woods" comprises of 16-track, featuring guest appearances from Alicia Keys and Chris Stapleton, produced by Justin Timberlake, The Neptunes, Timbaland, Danja, The Y's, Rob Knox and Eric Hudson. The album is set to be released on February 2nd.
He will perform at the Super Bowl LII halftime show in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 4th. This live show is his first performance in 14 years.
After the Super Bowl, he kicks off The Man of the Woods Tour in support of the new album at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada on March 13, 2018. The tour takes place in North America through to June 2nd, with a total 35 shows.
