London-based singer-songwriter Dua Lipa revealed a new music video for "IDGAF". A teaser for the music video was released on Lipa's Twitter account on 10 January 2018.
The song title means an abbreviation for "I Don't Give a Fuck". She released the song on January 12, 2018 as seventh single from her debut eponymous debut studio album. It was written by Dua Lipa, MNEK, Larzz Principato, Skyler Stonestreet and Whiskey Waters.
Dua Lipa took 22 hours to film. The video's director is Henry Scholfield, who also shot Dua Lipa's smash hit "New Rules" and "Lost in Your Light".
About the video, Henry Scholfield said;
"Internal struggle, showing the two sides of Dua's emotive state, like an argument with someone you love. The strong Dua at first berating then eventually persuading her weaker alter ego that they both don't give a fuck."
Dua Lipa added;
