American singer and actress Jennifer Hudson dropped a new music video for “Burden Down” directed by Sam Lecca.
The track is follow-up to “Remember Me” and the second single from her upcoming fourth studio album, which is due out in 2018. The album is her first LP in four years since "JHUD".
The song was written by Jennifer Hudson, Lindy Robbins and Jamie Hartman. The lyrics could be a reference to the end of her 10-year relationship with her fiancé, David Otunga. But she stayed quiet about their breakup.
Last year, she joined in "Sing: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack", where she performed "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight". In 2017, she starred as singer Courtney Clarke alongside Adam Sandler in the Netflix film "Sandy Wexler".
Also, she would become a coach for the American version of The Voice, starting with its thirteenth season.-
