Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Björk Premieres New Music Video for “Utopia”
Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk revealed a new music video for "Utopia" from her ninth album of the same title.
The video was directed by Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton Jones, who have created the video for a promotional single "Notget" from the new album.
Also, the video is similar to Andrew Thomas Huang's directed video "The Gate", which was released as the lead single from "Utopia" on September 15.
She began working on the album after releasing "Vulnicura" in 2015. The album "Utopia" contains 14-track and reached number 2 on the US Top Tastemaker Albums. The album cover was designed by Jesse Kanda, featuring silicone mask designed by frequent collaborator and mask maker James Merry.
Björk was announced as one of the headliners for the All Points East music festival in London. She is scheduled to perform on May 27, 2018. This marks her first live gig during the Utopia era.-
