American rapper Eminem appeared on Saturday Night Live, where he performed “Walk On Water” mashed up with other of his older songs, including “Stan” and “Love The Way You Lie” with American singer-songwriter Skylar Grey.
This marks the seventh time Eminen has been the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. This time, American rapper Chance The Rapper hosted SNL, who opened SNL monologue and sang a new Thanksgiving song.
“Walk On Water” was released on November 10, as the lead-single from his ninth solo album "Revival". The track featured Skylar Grey and American singer Beyoncé.
The song was written by Marshall Mathers, Skylar Grey, Beyoncé Knowles and Miquel Sijbers. It has reached the top 10 in Australia, Ireland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
He performed the song live for the first-time ever last Sunday at the MTV Europe Music Awards in London.- “Stan” was released from his third album "The Marshall Mathers LP" in 2000. The song featured British singer Dido and was number one in eleven countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland and Australia. It was written by Eminem, Dido and Paul Harmon.
“Love The Way You Lie” was included on his seventh studio album "Recovery" in 2010, featuring Barbadian singer Rihanna. Skylar Grey wrote the song and Eminem wrote the verses, and chose Rihanna to sing the chorus.
