Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kimbra Premieres New Music Video for “Top of the World”
New Zealand singer and actress Kimbra Lee Johnson, aka Kimbra will release her third studio album "Primal Heart" on January 19, 2018.
From the album, the lead single "Everybody Knows" was released in September.
The follow-up to "Everybody Knows", she released a second single "Top of the World" on November 11. The music video, directed by Guy Franklin, was premiered on the same day.
It was written by Kimbra Johnson and Taylor Graves, and co-produced by Skrillex, who is known for smash "Where Are Ü Now" featuring Justin Bieber.
The new album contains 12-track, featuring high-profile collaborators like Childish Gambino and Skrillex.- About the new album, she said;
“There’s always been amazing people I’m working with and bringing into the circle but in a way I’ve been intentional about this record being quite a focus less on features and more about my message. It’s definitely been a journey of different people coming through the studio but less from the point of collaborations with other vocalists and more just bringing their sound in on the background… It’s more a cast of characters.” -
