English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran's new music video for "Perfect" was premiered online on November 9th.
Directed by Jason Koenig, starring American actress Zoey Deutch, who is known for portraying Rosemarie "Rose" Hathaway in Vampire Academy (2014) and used to play in The New Division's video for "Opium" in 2014.
The song was written by Jason Koenig, Ed Sheeran, Andrew Kolvet, Jenny Koenig and Murray Cummings. It was released on September 26.
"Perfect" is the fourth single from his third studio album "÷", the follow-up to "Galway Girl," which climbed to Number Two in the U.K.
Ed Sheeran was recently forced to cancel multiple shows in Asia due to injuries suffered in a bicycle accident.- About the song, he revealed that inspiration behind the song came after visiting James Blunt's house, where the two singers had listened to the rapper Future's music.
"Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song' happened to be Future's 'March Madness'. But I had that 'We were just kids when we fell in love, not knowing what it was, I will not give you up.'... And I had that and I was like, right, let me just flesh that out. And the song happened and was sort of finished that day. I knew it was special." -
