Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ StarBenders Premieres New Song “Julian”
Atlanta-based rock band StarBenders has released a new song “Julian”. The song was produced by Nico Constantine and premiered exclusively on Alternative Press.
The track follows up “Far From Heaven” and “1969”, as well as their debut album “Heavy Petting”, which was released last year.
About the new song, the band frontwoman Kimi Shelter said;
"To achieve the things we want, we must first wake up. Wake up to become whole never to be alone again. I was chanting in a room filled with gold foiled icons and the song 'Julian' came like a download from the Universe."- StarBenders was formed in 2013, consisting of Kimi Shelter (lead vox/guitars), Aaron Lecesne (bass), Emily Moon (drums) and Kriss Tokaji (guitars/vox).
The band released a debut EP “Debut” in 2014 and the debut album “Heavy Petting” in 2016, respectively.
The band embarks their tour at The Bowery Electric on October 18 in New York. The tour conclude at Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville on December 11.
