Jay-Z Performs Latest Somgs “Bam” and “4:44” on Saturday Night Live
American rapper Shawn Corey Carter, aka Jay-Z appeared on Saturday Night Live, where he performed his latest songs “Bam” and “4:44”.
This marks fourth time Jay-Z has been the musical guest on SNL, having made his debut in 2000 when Lucy Liu hosted the show.
This time Ryan Gosling hosted and talked about jazz with Emma Stone.
Both songs of “Bam” and “4:44” are included Jay-Z’s thirteenth studio album “4:44”, which was released on June 30, 2017.
The song features Damian Marley and written by Shawn Carter, Dion Wilson, Winston Riley, Ophlin Russell, Damian Marley, Jacob Miller and Roger Lewis.
The album's title track, “4:44” was released as the lead single on July 11. It was written by Shawn Carter, Dion Wilson and Kanan Keeney.
In addition to Damian Marley, the album featues guses appearnces Gloria Carter, Frank Ocean and his wife Beyoncé.
The album contains 10-track and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. It is Jay-Z's 14th number one album to debut and peak atop the chart.- After SNL appearance, Jay-Z will embark on a two-month tour. It kicks off at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California on October 27 and ends at The Forum in Los Angeles on December 21.
In between, Jay-Z is set to perform 31 concerts throughout North America in such cities as Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, Cleveland, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Montreal, and New York.
