  • Fergie Premieres New Videos for “Save It Til Morning” & “Just Like You” and Performs on TODAY Show

  • Surprisingly, American singer-songwriter Fergie just dropped two new music videos for "Save It Til Morning" and "Just Like You".

    "Save It Til Morning" was directed by Alek Keshishian, co-stars Jay Hernandez. "Just Like You" was directed by Bruno Ilogti, co-stars Mark Vanderloo.
    Both songs are taken from her sophomore solo album "Double Dutchess", which was released on September 22.

    About the new songs, Fergie said;
    “There’s a few emotional songs on this album. I mean, I cry in a couple of the videos, so there’s definitely tears that were let out. It went deep. A lot of [the songs] took very much from autobiographical experiences and the video and visuals got to play with larger than life, movie magic. It’s a lot of hard work…So many different subject matters, visuals, experiences. It was just kind of organically going through whatever I was feeling and just making that happen. Being in the moment.”

    Also she appeared on TODAY, where she performed "Big Girls Don't Cry" and "Fergalicious".
    On the TV program, when she heard that her new album reached number one on iTunes, she said as tears of joy streamed down her face, "Oh, my ... really? Thank you! Thank you, everybody! I'm crazy losing it right now. ... I'm gonna ruin all my swag credibility."
    "Fergalicious" was released in 2006, featuring will.i.am. "Big Girls Don't Cry" was released in 2007, reaching number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and other 5 countries.
    Both songs were included on her debut solo album "The Dutchess", which was released in 2006.

  • On the new album, her 4-year old son Axl Jack performed "Enchanté (Carine)".
    "He sings songs all around the house, so I brought this demo home, and I was just playing it, listening to it," she recalled. "I'm singing, 'Enchante ... comment allez-vous ... tres bien.' When you hear your kid singing in French — it was just mommy pride," she said.
