Maryland-based singer-songwriter Margaret Debay "Maggie" Rogers, aka Maggie Rogers has shared a new song "Split Stones". The song received its first play during Apple Beats 1.
The track was written when she was in college and follows up her debut EP "Now That the Light Is Fading". She performed the song during her tour this year.
She posted a handwritten letter on Instagram, writing about the song.
"My EP told you everything I felt during my last semester of college. It's time for me to tell you the story of everything that's happened since.
'Split Stones' is a parting gift. It's a song I made in college and have held onto for a while - one I've had so much fun playing live this year for all of you. This is me saying goodbye for a little while. Here's to the end of the beginning and the start of everything else."-
