British singer-songwriter Joss Stone dropped behind-the-scenes video of the recording for “Oceans” on VEVO.
The song is a part of "We are the Oceans" and produced by Joss Stone. The track was released in July 2017 and is her first single in two years.
The single is collaboration with global collective We Are the Oceans (WATO), which was founded by Daisy Kendrick and supported by UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) in 2017. WATO has been created to secure the future of our planet by safeguarding the world’s oceans.
About the new song, she said, "The song is about making a change and if enough people change their habits it WILL make a difference."
She is midway through her The Total World Tour. The tour takes place in every UN registered country in the world through to October. Learn more about tour dates, click here.- Joss Stone debuted with her fist album "The Soul Sessions" in 2003, which reached number four on th UK Albums chart.
Since then, she has released seven studio albums including the debut album and had sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. Her latest album "Water for Your Soul" was released in 2015.
She won British Female Solo Artist and British Urban Act at BRIT Awards in 2005, as well as Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at Grammy Awards in 2007. -
