Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Tennis Premieres New Song “No Exit”
Denver-based indie pop band Tennis premiered a new song "No Exit" and announced Fall/Winter tour dates.
The song follows up their fourth studio album "Yours Conditionally", which was released in march 2017. It was inspired by disaffection with the dance floor scene.
The duo embarks their own tour at Sister Bar Albuquerque, NM on Novenber 13. The tour takes place in North America through to February 2018.

About the new song, Alaina Moore wrote on Facebook;
"I have never related to songs that invoke a carefree, forever young, dance until dawn state of mind. The young-beautiful-fun mantra mostly just reminds me of the opposite. Escapism is shot through with sadness, even on the dance floor. Patrick [Riley] and I are devoutly mid-tempo songwriters, a fact I wanted to remedy by creating a dancey 120 bpm sort of thing that appeals to my persistent sense of malaise. No Exit is a song I hope you can enjoy regardless of your appetite for fun."
Tennis “No Exit”- Tennis was formed by husband-and-wife duo Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley in 2010. Both met in a philosophy class while both students at the University of Colorado, Denver in 2008. The duo has released four albums "Cape Dory" (2011), "Young & Old" (2012), "Ritual in Repeat" (2014) and "Yours Conditionally" (2017), so far. Thier latest album "Yours Conditionally" debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Alternative Albums chart and No. 2 on the Vinyl Albums chart.
The duo appeared at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and toured supporting Spoon and the Shins. - source : Spin
