Dutch DJ duo Vicetone has delivered a new song "Collide" via SoundCloud. The duo teamed up with Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Rosi Golan on the new song.
The song was released August 10, a lyric video was premiered on August 19. The sound blends a fuse of uplifting chords, melodic piano’s and touching vocals. It all leads up to a delicate drop that floods with playful vocal snippets and sophisticated beats, giving this tune a refined edge.
About the song, Vicetone said;
“When Rosi first sent over her vocal, we knew we had received something special. We loved her chorus and wanted to incorporate her voice in the hook of the instrumental. After we worked on it for an hour, we sent her our initial idea and she loved the idea! It didn’t take long at all to finish the track. We’re very excited to see how the track will do – it’s a true labor of love from all people involved.”- Vicetone was formed in 2012, cinsisting of childhood friends Ruben Den Boer and Victor Pool. After the Nothing Toulouse: North American Tour by Nicky Romero, the duo signed to Protocol Recordings in 2013.
In 2014, the duo released "Let Me Feel" collaboration with Nicky Romero, which became their major breakthrough and reached number one on the Beatport chart.
