American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars premiered a new music video for "Versace On The Floor" starring American actress and singer Zendaya.
The music video premiered last night only minutes after Bruno was announced as the winner of the “Visionary Award” at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards.
The song is included on his third album "24K Magic" and written by Bruno Mars and co-written by Philip Lawrence, Brody Brown and James Fauntleroy. The track was released on November 4, 2016 as the album's third single, also French DJ David Guetta released a remix version of the song on June 27, 2017.
Bruno Mars recorded at least six different versions of "Versace on the Floor," including a lounge-y "poolside version" and a more "epic" take before settling on the album version.
About the song, Bruno Mars told Rolling Stone;
"We're painting this picture – both in silk, I'm promising the world. But I'm not singing. This is supposed to be a big ballad on the album, but I'm not giving it to 'em! If we're gonna really, dramatically slow things down, I've got to be singing some shit."
Also, he would donate $1 million from his Detroit-area concert to an organization fighting the Flint water crisis.-
