Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Cold War Kids Premieres New Music Video for “So Tied Up” Featuring Bishop Briggs
American indie rock band Cold War Kids premiered a new music video for "So Tied Up". The song features Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Bishop Briggs and is included on their sixth studio album "L.A. Divine", which was released in April 2017.
Back in March, the band and Bishop Briggs released special gig video for the song, which was filmed at Sonora Recorders in Los Feliz.
The band has currently toured to promote the new album in the US, Canada and Mexico through to November.

About the new video, the band frontman Nathan Willett said;
"'So Tied Up' is about the tension and struggle of relationships. With this video, we wanted to show the sweetness on the surface and the violence that bubbles underneath as a metaphor for all of our love lives.”- YJIwG6e3paY

Cold War Kids fromed in 2004, currently consisting of Nathan Willett (vocals, piano, guitar), Matt Maust (bass guitar), David Quon (guitar, backing vocals), Matthew Schwartz (backing vocals, keyboards and piano, percussion, guitar), and Joe Plummer (drums, percussion).
The band released three EPs via independent record label Monarchy Music in 2005. The group signed to Downtown/V2 and released their major label debut "Robbers & Cowards" in 2006. Since then, the band has released six studio albums.-
