Lollapalooza 2017 took place in Grant Park, Chicago on August 3-6, where Charli XCX and Halsey performed Spice Girls’ "Wannabe" together.
Charli XCX's stage was set 45-minute, she brought Halsey on stage for the two of them to perform a cover of the Spice Girls’ legendary hit.
"Wannabe" was released by Spice Girls in 1996. The song was written by Spice Girls, Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard. The track reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, the UK Singles chart and other 15 countries singles chart. "Wannabe" became the best-selling single by a female group in the world with over 5 million copies.
On stage, Charli XCX played “Lipgloss” along with CupcakKe after Halsey's performance.
In addition to Charli XCX, Lollapalooza 2017 featured The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Zara Larsson, Tove Lo and more. But on August 3, the festival canceled first night performances, including Lorde, Muse, Lil Uzi Vert and Porter Robinson, due to a weather emergency.- source : Rolling Stone
