Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kylie Spence Premieres Debut Song “Lying Eyes”
American singer-songwriter Kylie Spence debuted with "Lying Eyes" on July 21. The song was premiered exclusively on Breathe Heavy.
The track is taken from her upcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released later in 2017.
The song has elements of darker, electronic pop and rolling guitar lines and reminds us of Lana Del Rey.
About the debut song, the 16-year-old singer told Breathe Heavy;
"There is a constant struggle between the two, yet they stay together because they love the outside of the person and their looks. But, they can’t stand what is on the inside… I don’t always write from personal experiences, for ‘Lying Eyes,’ I drew inspiration from movies I’ve seen, stories I’ve heard and people I’ve met. I have such a deep empathy, so I’m able to connect and understand a lot of people and their past experiences."
Kylie Spence wrote and recorded her first song "Bluejeans" when she was only 12. The song has shared via her YouTube channel.
Since then, she has posted some cover songs such as Halsey, Of Monsters And Menon, John Mayer and Lucy Roseon on YouTube.- source : Breathe Heavy
