Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ MY Premieres New Song “Hate On Myself”
Swedish pop/rock band MY has delivered a new song "Hate On Myself". Lyric video was premiered on VEVO on July 14th.
Last month, they released "W.I.L.D", the new song follows up it. The track is taken from their debut album, and before, she said she wrote over 80 songs for the debut album.
The debut album will be released later in 2017.
MY consists of My Helmner (vocals), Simon Westerdahl (guitars) and Johannes Andersson (drums / producer).
My Helmner was formerly in the band “Indevotion”, "Before I started the MY project, I was in a band for eight years. We did everything, we booked our own shows, wrote everything. We didn’t really know how to record things, so I used my laptop and Garageband, anything I could find to record my ideas.”
After releaseing a few EPs with the band, she moved to Stockholma and formed MY in 2008. The band released an EP "Heart" in 2013.
MY signed to Universal Music in the UK in 2015 and released a major debut single "Pretty Little Liar" in 2016.-
