Los Angeles-based alt-pop band Echosmith has released a new song "Goodbye" from their forthcoming sophomore studio album "Inside A Dream".
The song is their first single in two years since "Let's Love". They have already shot the music video, which will be premiered shortly.
The new album is expected to be released on September 29, 2017.
Also, the band embarks "Inside A Dream Tour" to promote the new album at The Truman in Kansas after Billboard Hot 100 Festival (August 19-20). The tour takes place in North America through November. Lear more about tour dates, click here.
About the song, Sydney Sierota said;
“At that point, we never had another musician on stage with us. That literally forced us on a journey of having to discover this sound. We still had electric guitars, but they weren’t the center of the music anymore.”-
Echosmith is best known for smash hit "Cool Kids", which reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double platinum by the RIAA with over 1,200,000 sales in the United States and double platinum also by ARIA in Australia.
The band was formed in 2009, originally consisting of as a quartet of siblings, Sydney Sierota (lead vocals), Noah Sierota (bass), Graham Sierota (drums) and Jamie Sierota (lead guitar).
But, the band announced that Jamie will no longer be part of the band so that he can take care of his baby in 2016. Currently the band is a trio. - source : Just Jared Jr.
