- Arcade Fire Premieres New Music Video for “Electric Blue”
- Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire premiered a new music video for "Electric Blue" on VEVO. The song is taken from their upcoming fifth studio album "Everything Now", which is out on July 28. The new album is their first LP in 4 years and a major debut album via Columbia Records.
The video was filmed in New Orleans during Mardi Gras season and directed by Cousin Club.
On the same day as release the video, the band appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, where they performed Lorde’s “Green Light” and their previous song "Everything Now". Full video will presumably air soon.
The band embarks the tour to promote the new album at Vieilles Charrues in France on July 15, 2017. The tour takes place in Europe, North America and South America through December. Learn more about tour dates, click here.
Arcade Fire was formed in 2001, currently consisting of Win Butler (vocals, guitar), Régine Chassagne (vocals, keyboards), Richard Reed Parry (guitar), William Butler (synthesizer), Tim Kingsbury (bass) and Jeremy Gara (drums).
The band debuted with an EP "Arcade Fire" in 2003 and released a debut album "Funeral" in 2004.
In 2007, their sophomore albunm "Neon Bible" was released and reached number one on the Canadian Albums Chart and number 2 on the Billboard Top 200.
The third album "The Suburbs" and the fourth album "Reflektor" were released in 2010 and 2013, respectively. Also both albums reached number one in the Canada and the U.S.
In 2017, the band signed to Columbia Records.
