Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Vance Joy Premieres New Song “Lay It On Me”
Australian singer-songwriter James Gabriel Keogh, aka Vance Joy is back!! He just dropped a new song "Lay It On Me" and premiered a music video, too.
The music video features American actress Angela Sarafyan, who you might recognize from the HBO series Westworld. Directed by Mimi Cave.
The song follows up "Straight into Your Arms" and is his first single in a year.
About the song, Vance Joy said;
"I had this guitar riff I had been playing for ages but had never found a home for. When it was glued together with a lyric I had in my phone, ‘everything starts at your skin,’ the song started to make sense."
Vance Joy is known for smash hit "Riptide", which was released from his debut EP "God Loves You When You're Dancing" in 2013. Worldwide, the single has sold over 5 million copies.
He released his debut studio album "Dream Your Life Away" in 2014 and won Best Male Artist at the ARIA Music Awards of 2015.-
