Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ HAIM Covers Selena Gomez's “Bad Liar” in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
Los Angeles-based rock band HAIM appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, the trio performed Selena Gomez's “Bad Liar” and their latest song "Want You Back".
“Bad Liar” was released on may 18, 2017 and written by Selena Gomez, Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter. The music video, directed by Jesse Peretz, was premiered on June 14. The track reached number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 25 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Want You Back" is taken from their sophomore album "Something to Tell You", which was released on July 7. The track was written by Danielle Haim, Este Haim, Alana Haim and Ariel Rechtshaid, and performed its first play during Saturday Night Live on May 13.
The music video was directed by Jake Schreier and filmed at dawn in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
The band has currently toured to promote the album in Australia, North America and London through to October.
