Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Haneri Premieres New Music Video for “Burning Up”
Los Angeles & Singapore based singer-songwriter Daphne Khoo, aka Haneri dropped a new music video for "Burning Up", directed by Ryan Tan.
The song is her debut song as Haneri, who has already released one album and 7 singles under the name of Daphne Khoo.
The track is radio-friendly with electric rhythm like 80's pop sound. But the video draws themes of addiction and toxic, abusive relationships.
About the new song, "I hope this song will remind people going through similar struggles that they aren’t alone," sha said.
Haneri participated in the first season of Singapore Idol, where she finished in third runner up. In 2007, she released a debut album "Desperate" as Daphne Khoo.
Her latest EP "Wonderland" was released in 2014, and the lead single "Weak" was featured in Wong Fu Production’s short film "After Us".
In 2017, she changed her stage name to Haneri and is currently based in Los Angeles.-
