Cedric Gervais Premieres New Song “Somebody New” Featuring Liza Owen
Grammy Award winner and French DJ Cedric Gervais has delivered a new song "Somebody New". This time, he teamed up with British singer-songwriter Liza Owen, who wrote this song in Los Angels.
The track ties a piano-led track, playful synth patterns and rolling club beats with Liza's vocals.
Cedric Gervais is known as a winner of 56th Grammy Awards, where he won for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical with Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness (Remix)".
He started his music career in 1998 at age 19. He debuted with "Burning" in 2006 via Ultra Records. In the same year, he released a debut album "Experiment". His second album "Miamication" was released in 2011.
In 2014, he signed to Interscope Records with its related label Polydor Records. His last song "Would I Lie to You?" was released in 2016. The track featured David Guetta and Chris Willis, peaked at #13 on US Billboard Hot 100. Originally, the song was released by American duo Charles & Eddie in 1992.
