Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Paramore Performs “Hard Times” and Drake's “Passionfruit” on BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge
American rock band Paramore appeared BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, where the band performed "Hard Times" and covered Drake's "Passionfruit".
"Hard Times" was released from their fifth studio album "After Laughter" on April 19, 2017. The music video was premiered on the same day and direcyed by Andrew Joffe.
The song was written by Hayley Williams and Taylor York, and recorded in the band's hometown, Nashville, Tennessee. It peaked at #90 on US Billboard Hot 100.
The new album was released on May 12 through Fueled by Ramen, it is their first LP in 4 years since "Paramore". The album was produced by Taylor York alongside previous collaborator, Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
And it is the band's first album since the return of drummer Zac Farro, who left the band with his brother Josh in 2010.
"Passionfruit" was released by Canadian rapper Drake on March 28, 2017. The song was second single off his playlist "More Life", which was released in March. It was written by Drake along with British producer-songwriter Nana Rogues and has additional vocals from Zoë Kravitz.
