Swedish pop/rock band MY has released a new song "W.I.L.D". The song written by My Helmner and Johannes Andersson.
The track follows up "Nothing", which was released on March 13.
The sound is dynamic music, combined with a captivating and energetic vocals unlike previous song "Nothing".
MY was formed in 2008, consisting of My Helmner (vocals), Simon Westerdahl (guitars) and Johannes Andersson (drums / producer).
MY signed to Universal Music in the UK in 2015. Before major debut, they released the EP "Heart" in 2013. The band debuted with "Pretty Little Liar" in 2016.
They are influenced from bands like Jimmy Eat World, Angels and Airways and Katy Perry.
The center of the band My Helmner said, "I like to work with a noise and distort something like crazy, or play with sounds that you wouldn't normally put in a pop song. I want to feel like there are no boundaries."
Currently, the band is working on their upcoming debut album, for which My Helmner wrote over 80 songs.
About the debut album, 25-year-old singer said "I think we're about to lose the album format. I would like the industry to capture bigger concepts."
The debut album is expected to be released later in 2017.
She added about their next, "We're still in the experimental stage of our sound. We'd like to go a bit more extreme."-
