Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Dagny Premieres New Music Video for “Wearing Nothing”
London-based Norwegian singer-songwriter Dagny Norvoll Sandvik, aka Dagny debuted a new music video for "Wearing Nothing" directed by Tabitha Denholm.
The video was premiered exclusively on REFINERY29. The song was released on May 25 and follows up "Fool's Gold" featuring Børns.
In a press release, she explained about the new song, "The song is called ‘Wearing Nothing’ but it’s not just about wanting to be naked with someone. It’s about wanting to be completely bare with someone and to be as close as possible both emotionally and physically even to the point where a piece of clothing feels like too much in-between."
The muisc video is inspired from "La La Land". It's very cute & catchy.
After releasing the video, she will perform at Circus Ravnedalen 2017 in Norway on June 10. In addition to Dagny, the festival features Highasakite, Sondre Justad, Xavier Rudd, ARY, Hjerteslag og Rossman. The next live is in New York at The Skins at Mercury Lounge on June 27.

About the video, she told REFINERY29;
"I guess it’s something in my head I’ve always imagined, this amazing La La Land meets, like, an old Fred Astaire movie or something. This idea of you’re in sync with someone and then as time goes by you fall out of sync and you have this moment of alone and then you meet someone else and you’re in sync.
You’re with someone and then you’re totally in sync and everything is great and then time passes on and runs its course and you come to an end. But then by then meeting someone new that doesn’t necessarily diminish what you had."
Dagny debuted with "Backbeat" in 2016. The acoustic version of the song was featured on American TV Grey's Anatomy "True Colors".
She released her debut album "Ultraviolet" in September 2016.-
