New Zealand singer-songwriters Lorde and Aldous Harding appeared on BBC Two Later… with Jools Holland.
The Jools Holland episode was the series' first all-female performance. Lorde and Harding mark the first time two New Zealand acts have performed on a major late night television program independently to each other.
Lorde performed her latest song "Green Light" from her upcoming sophomore album "Melodrama", which is due out on June 16, 2017.
The song was influenced from Aldous Harding. She wrote about the song on Twetter, "This song blows my head off. Soft flurry of gut punches. I think Aldous is the most interesting musician around."
The music video for "Green Light" is similar to Harding's "Imagining My Man" video. "Green Light" was co-written by Jack Antonoff, who is former American indie rock band fun member.
While, Aldous Harding performed her new song "Horizon" from her sophomore album "Party", which was released on May 19, 2017. Two singles "Horizon" and "Imagining My Man" preceded the album on January.
Currently, she has toured to promote the new album in Europe, North America and New Zealand through November.
