Dan Auerbach Performs “Shine On Me” and “King of a One Horse Town” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
The guitarist and vocalist of the Black Keys, Dan Auerbach appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he performed the new songs “Shine On Me” and “King of a One Horse Town”.
“Shine On Me” was released on March 30 and “King of a One Horse Town” was released on April 27, respectively.
Two songs are included on his upcoming solo album "Waiting on a Song", which is expected to be released on June 2, 2017.
The new album is his first solo LP in eight years since a debut solo album "Keep It Had".
This time, John Prine, Duan Eddy, Johnny Cash bassist Dave Roe, drummer Gene Chrisman, pianist Bobby Wood and Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler join in the new album as the guest appearances.
"These guys tell me they're genuinely thrilled to be here because we're making records like they used to," Dan Auerbach told Rolling Stone about the new album.
Dan Auerbach has released eight studio albums, two EPs, 20 singles, and a live album as The Black Keys, so far. The band won Producer of the Year, Non-Classical at Grammy Awards in 2013.
He launched a new side-project The Arcs in 2015 and released the group's debut album "Yours, Dreamily".
