Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Kacy Hill Premieres New Songs “Like A Woman” and “Hard To Love”
American model and singer-songwriter Kacy Hill has delivered two new songs “Like A Woman” and "Hard To Love" via VEVO and Spotify.
Both songs are taken from her upcoming debut album "Like A Woman" produced by Stuart Price.
She finished recording her debut album in December 2016. She explained about the album on her website that the album is an experiment in sexuality, an immersive sex positive experience, in which Kacy takes listeners into her mind and her world. “Sexuality is a part of my life that I have avoided,” she said. The album is expected to be released in summer.
Also, she performed both songs live at Def Jam Upfronts 2017 in New York City on May 9th. In addition to Kacy Hill, the festival featured performances of Troi Irons, Dave East, Bibi Bourelly, Earl St. Clair, and Amir Obe.
Before her live performance, she told Billboard about her vision;
"I think for me, it's all about the vision as far as seeing a product in its entirety. I think it's all about creating something that isn't just an album, that isn't just a live show. I know I'm not the best songwriter in the world. I don't know if I'm the best live performer in the world. I don't know if I'm the best at one thing, but I'm really good at creating something that makes sense top to bottom and makes sense visually."-
