Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Chase & Status and Blossoms Premiere New Song “This Moment”
London-based electronic music production duo Chase & Status teamed up with English indie pop band Blossoms on a new song "This Moment". The song was co-written by Will Kennard, Saul Milton alogn with Blossoms.
Chase & Status was formd by Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status) in 2013. To date, the duo has released three studio albums and collaborated with major artists the likes of Plan B, Cee Lo Green, Rihanna, Example and Tinie Tempah.
The new song is taken from their upcoming fourth album "Control", which is expected to be released later in 2017.
Blossoms was fromed in 2013, consisting of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals).
The band is kknow for smash hit "Charlemagne", which was released in 2015 and reached number 38 on the Scotland Sngles Chart.
In 2016, the band released a debut album "Blossoms", which peaked at the top of the UK Albums Chart, giving Blossoms their first number-one album.
About collaboration with Blossoms, Saul Milton said;
"It was a privilege working with such a talented and hard working band as Blossoms. It’s always a challenge to collaborate with another act but this was easy."
Frontman of Blossoms Tom Ogden added;
"The collaboration came together really quickly and naturally. It was a good buzz to step out of my comfort zone. I believe the kids call such tunes ‘f***ing bangers’."-
