Earl Premieres New Song “Baddabing Baddaboom” on BBC Radio 2
London-based singer-songwriter Kate Earl, aka Earl has released a new song "Baddabing Baddaboom". The song is taken her upcoming debut album "Tongue Tied", which is due out on June 16, 2017. The track received its first play during BBC Radio 2.
"BaddaBing BaddaBoom" is a cheeky-charleston thriller, a joyous wink through the trumpeting jazz-skits of 1920s cotton-pop.
From the debut album, two songs "Tongue Tied" and "I Love You" were already released along with the music videos directed by James Fitzgerald.
Earl was born in Alaska and moved to Los Angeles in 2004, where she signed to The Record Collection.
She debuted as Kate Earl with her debut album "Fate Is the Hunter" in 2005. But, she left The Record Collection and signed to Universal Republic in 2007. After the deal, she released th second album "Kate Earl" in 2009. Afterwards, she moved to Downtown Records and released third album "Stronger" in 2012.
In 2015, BBC introduced her two songs "Good Witch" and "We Promised", then she changed her music direction into “proper jazz” like Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington and Big Band swing, and signed to BMG Records as Earl. Currently, she is based in London.
She will join in "Bryan Ferry 2017 Tour" in Germany in May. After the tour, she will perform live at The Courtyard Theatre on June 14 and Cornbury Music Festival 2017 on July 7.

About her music, she said;
“Jokes are all over jazz. It’s a topsy-turvy world we live in. Music is all over the place. Everybody’s making music of every kind. It’s the Wild West! There’s a feeling of rebellion everywhere and jazz is the perfect music for that.”-
