Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lorde Premieres New Song “Homemade Dynamite” at Coachella
New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde premiered a new song "Homemade Dynamite" during Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Sunday night (April 16). Also, she performed live other new songs "Sober" and "Melodrama" at pre Coachella show on Friday (April 14).
The songs are included on her upcoming sophomore album "Melodrama", which is due out on June 16.
She performed five new songs from the album including "Liability" and "Green Light" at main stage.
Lorde said about the new song:
"This next song that I'm about to play you is brand new. Nobody has heard it. In that first category where everything is good. I want you to do me a favor, Coachella: I want you to give this birthday the biggest fucking birthday of all-time. Let's bring it into the world in the best way. I thought about all the ups and downs of being a twentysomething, specifically all the ups and downs of an evening. So I spent a lot of time going out, as you do, and I was struck by all of the facets of an evening. It was the dichotomy of those two things that I'm very interested in."- source : Rolling Stone
